I have used natural fertilizer for 30 years or more. My favorite organic fertilizer has mycorrhizae already in the bag to help here in Utah. I add sulfur a lot as well as we have high alkaline soils. I haven’t used a rototiller on my grow boxes in over 20 years.
I use comfrey for naturally pulling up phosphorus deep in the soil for my fruit trees and grapes. I also have Yarrow all over as the plant naturally provides, nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium back to the soil so you don’t have to fertilize.
